Here she is asleep with her mouth open.

The first few days at home have been great for Kayla!

This is a great portrait shot of her

And now for the newest member of our family!!! Presenting Kayla Rebecca Hutchings!!!
She is just beautiful. Her face looks perfect and she is doing great. Her current talent is her strength. While in the tummy she never really kicked. It was more slow movements. We thought she would be a mellow soft girl but we were wrong about the soft part. She is very strong. At day three she can already hold up her head and she beat Dad in an arm wrestle. She is very very strong and healthy. The labor was as desired-all natural. On Friday evening about 6pm as we were shopping she felt some uncomfortable feelings. We then went home and she needed to lay down. She then had consistent pain every 5 minutes for about 45 seconds. But the pain wasn't on the stomach but more below the baby in the tummy. We were not sure if these were contractions or not. The pain then moved to her back and it become consistent. At about 12:30 am she said she felt like it would just feel better if she pushed. Seth then decided it was time to go to the hospital. At 1:18am she was born. Just about 20 minutes of pushing and she was born at 8lbs 7 oz. Amanda did an amazing job.

Now this is Amanda at 9 months. And it just so happen that she gave birth the same day this was taken.

The ultrasound

These are the ultrasound pictures of our baby girl. Starting with the picture on the top left going clockwise. This is the picture of letting us know that she is a girl. This is a great view of her foot. If you tilt your head to the left you can see an upclose picture of her face. This is a great side view with her hand on her head.
